BTICSL
Overview
The Bo Technology and Innovation Center (BTIC) is Sierra Leone's technology and innovation hub based in Bo — the country's second-largest city. BTIC's mission is to empower innovators, build local technology solutions, and transform communities through digital skills and entrepreneurship.
The center is part of Sierra Leone's growing network of tech hubs (the country had nine active hubs by 2020), working to decentralise technology access beyond Freetown and into provincial communities. BTIC runs training programmes, hackathons, and innovation projects targeting youth in Bo and surrounding districts.
